Home court advantage

To date there have been 48 games played in the WNIT.

37 have been won by the home team and 11 by the visiting team.

Of those 11 , 4 victories belong to A-10 schools ( DU x 2 vs. Miami and Georgetown , St Joe's vs. Seton Hall , and Fordham vs. Drexel ).

I am not sure what this means , but major propos to the women of DU !!!

Now go out and kick the living crap out of St. John's.

Re: Home court advantage

For what it is worth - I checked out the Sagarin Ratings for the remaining games -  AND there are TWO sets of ratings on that web page --  Know there are a ton of ratings systems out there - this is just one - wanted to get some idea of the relevant strengths of the remaining 16 teams

Michigan State (49) at South Dakota (50)  or MSU (36) at SD (61)
TCU (37) at New Mexico (101)  or TCU (43) at NM (85)

Purdue (61) at Indiana (53) or Purdue (54) at Indiana (58)
Cal Davis (79) at Kansas State (58) or UCD (78) at KSU (59)

James Madison (77) at WVU (29) or JMU (80) at WVU (22)
Duquesne (59) at St. Johns (51) or DU (81) at St Johns (52)

Fordham (80) at Va Tech (57) or Fordham (88) at Va Tech (42)
Ga Tech (46) at Alabama (69) or Ga Tech (33) at Alabama (66)

Miami Ohio was 86 and 93  Georgetown was 67 and 71

One apparently takes margin of victory much higher than the other - Interesting that DU has the biggest difference and a few teams are on the road with much better rankings.

BEAT ST. JOHNS!!!!
