RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — Richmond has dismissed sophomore guard De'Monte Buckingham from its basketball program for a violation of athletics department policy.The school provided no other details regarding what violation Buckingham violated.The 6-foot-4 guard from Richmond was the Atlantic 10 rookie of the year two seasons ago. Last year he averaged 12.2 points, third on the team, and a team-best 7 rebounds in 30 games.___For more AP college basketball coverage: and Wow that's a bombshell! Appears to be a messy breakup between Richmond and Buckingham. Kwan Fore is leaving as a grad transfer as well. Big losses for Richmond, who were poised to take a step forward with how young their starting five was.

love that Princeton system he runs. Looks like he has recruited players that didnt pan out and transferred
out which resulted in a losing season and some instability in program.
When Dukes have played Richmond it always seemed like they run a better system and we are outcoached.Their talent level is good but the Spiders play so well as a team and their basketball IQ is high.
