Spring season vs Riverhounds

The riverhounds released their preseason schedule. 1 of their 8 games is against Duquesne on Friday, February 15th @ 7

This is a (usually) Annual matchup and it's free, so it's a great way to get a glimpse of the new roster for Duquesne as well as check out the beautiful Highmark Stadium

I hate myself for loving you. Quoting me without the expressed written consent of the National Hockey League is prohibited.

Re: Spring season vs Riverhounds

Thanks for posting this.  I’ll be there.

Love the Dukes
Love the Riverhounds
Love Highmark Stadium

I would love it if the Dukes played their home football at Highmark.  Rooney is good for soccer but it’s the smallest home field by far in the entire country for division 1 football, FCS or FBS.

Clarion played a football game there last year and had a good turn out.

That field would draw recruits where Rooney doesn’t at all.  Maybe play the RMU game there each year to start.

Re: Spring season vs Riverhounds

Not a bad exhibition to start the year-  Tying a pro team.

Highmark is an excellent stadium.  Again, out football team should play at least one or two big games there and leave Rooney to the Soccer Teams.

Maybe the RMU game like we use PPG for the City Game with Pitt.

Gorgeous view... this would attract recruits!
