Women Struggled Shooting Wise most of the game and fell short. Hopefully their body of work (20 wins and A-10 semi-finals are enough to earn a post season berth. In addition to the WNIT there is another post season tournament They fared better against Richmond than URI did today. Last year the Women's NIT had a 64 team field so hopefully there will be an invitation extended. This new NCAA tournament (Women's Bashetball Invitational Tournament) is supposed to have 32 teams, WNIT 48 teams this year, and WBI 8 teams this year plus NCAA 68 teams. That's 156 teams. Certainly there is room for us somewhere.
