Re: El Duque

Was nice to get a look at most of the new Dukes including the transfers who are sitting out. Brown did not participate, nor did Kravacevic (cast on left arm) and the bigger Hughes {something on ankle and one crutch}.
Williams looks to able score as coach has mentioned. He really wants to play. They took him out of game and 10 seconds later he was trying to get someones attention in the game that he could replace.

Re: El Duque

A couple of more thoughts on todays event that I didn't get to earlier due to an uneasy stomach possibly attributed to an overindulgence of donuts.Smith looked healthy and ready to go and finally showed the alley-oop dunk we heard about going into last season. Castro took it to the hole a handful of times and looked like he did in past summer leagues. Robinson looks pretty quick for his size and hopefully will have a break out season. Don't be surprised iif you see him throwing up some 3's. Kratholm looks like he belongs. Made a couple lay ups off feeds while cutting to the hole. Lewis  didn't do a lot but we know what we have there. Tydus didn't score much if at all but but was battling on the boards, James also hitting boards and as we know is really athletic. Once again Williams did impress and looks to be the real deal on first impression.

Re: El Duque

Tavian Dunn-Martin put on a show at the end of practice with some sensational dunks. He is going to be a big crowd favorite next year.

Mike Lewis II is a shorter version of Ronnie Dixon. Remember Silk? His stroke is like a machine.

And Jordan Robinson not only looks like a different player, he was interacting with fans (kids especially), as were all the players, but he especially did some nice things.

These are good kids. Excited to see them grow.

Thanks CLK.
When was the last time we were this positive going into a season? 1980 maybe?
