Agree that we need this one. Interesting that UMass lost to RI by 2 the other night. Every game figures to be tough down the stretch, even Fordham @ home. We handled GW fairly easily at home but this certainly should be a bigger challenge. At least we know that the intensity on the court will be there moving toward the A-10 tourney. That I believe we can count on! Still a shot at a 20 win season before we finish for the year.

UMass ended the game on a 17-5 run in the final 3:39 to nearly erase the 80-66 deficit. Defense was optional in that one last night with both teams over 50% from the field and only 60 possessions.

As for the Dukes, it is a road game and no road games can be taken for granted. GW has played the toughest in league schedule thus far and haven't fared well in nearly every aspect of the game. I do think GW's style of play (slow paced, not exceptionally quick) is a favorable matchup for us. First rematch game in the KD era as well, so looking to see what changes or stays the same from each side since 1/3. When they changed to a 1-3-1 zone at Palumbo that got them back in the game.

GW is more engaged than the Dukes; very sluggish.

Bingo Townson, we look horrible except for Lewis.  Where is the D?  Letting a team as bad as GW on track to break 70, good Lord.  Our bigs are either non-existent or liabilities (turnovers & fouls), Castro looks confounded; where is this we are "mad" and will show up and take it out on GW???? I'm sorry, but GW is simply not that good and if we lose to them what the hell does that say about us?  Very interested to see what KD gets out of them in the second half, but that was one bad half of basketball when we should be ahead by 10 just based on talent.  The only guy they have is Watonobe.

Whoa. That was a close one. Credit to our guys for making enough plays down the stretch. How bout marko coming in and knocking down those two threes in the second half!?

My blood pressure can't take much more of this, but after two heartbreaking losses this might have been the most important win of the season for the Dukes heading into the stretch run of the A-10 regular season.

Road wins are gold, especially this season. I'll take em any way we can get them. Little closer than needed to be in the final minute but they got the job done overcoming the bad strecth in the first half that had them trailing. 

Stopped a losing streak and hopefully some fan momentum for the Red Out vs Bona

Made the plays needed to win.  
Dukes were 2-3 point underdogs but won on the road.

Good to see Marko make the most of his minutes. Should of earned himself some future PT. I think we finally got a break. Looked to me like Smith took a little hop.
