My buddies who have homes in the Caribbean tell me the Cayman Islands are very safe & beautiful. Looks like a great trip to cheer the Dukes

Well we're seeing the first payoff of our success. Since we rejoined the A-10 thirty one years ago, we've played one power conference team at a neutral site in a "preseason tournament." It's possible we'll play two in this tournament alone.

Not as good as we first thought.  Rutgers and Mississippi State out.

That's not good. I doubt the replacements will be at the level of those schools. A school like Duquesne only has so many opportunities to face power 5 schools especially on a neutral court. Many schools don't see value in playing a quality mid-major.

Polite way of saying: Running scared. We might be facing our hardest scheduling challenge in many years.

I agree, but thats just sadly the way it is. The committee doesn't recognize quality wins against mid level conference teams heavily in the metrics whereas a loss destroys the metrics. Pitt feels so strongly about this they decided to break decades of basketball tradition in a city where that game was the pinnacle. I hate it.
