WaIting for someone in Athletic Department to step forward and provide some information and insight into this This year defines the dambrot coaching legacy and it will be a good one for the Bluffites! Penn State had their football scholarship limits restored. I did not know these ridiculous rules for football classification set by NCAA.Harper and Duquesne need to I think the Dukes need to go Division3.There just is not a lot of fan interest and the 40 football scholarship These games against WVU and Coastal Carolina are total mismatches.These 2 schools have overwhelming Why in the world would you allow the football team go out and play two programs clearly above Duquesnes talent in back to back games.Duquesne takes in a lot of money for these beat downs but they also endanger the lives of of our players when they are outmatched in size,speed and depth.Either upgrade the program,by offering more schlarships,enlarging and improving the football stadium or drop it down to a Division 3 level so our players can compete against others with comparable skills.Keep playing Whatever he gets paid reporting Duquesne athletics its not nearly enough for all he does. Mike I listened to him during that 2 hour delay and he is a special talent,good person and interesting The guy works hard in covering the Dukes.I respect his insider opinions. He would bring fresh air and a Im not interested in players history of health issues,all I want to know is whose practicing and who isnt I dont know him personally but the guy is smart,a good reporter and is comfortable speaking and works hard covering Duquesne athletic dept treats fans with contempt.The biggest question marks all Duquesne fans have is the health of several members of the team and their availability for this season.Instead of addressing the issue Jimmy Clark is better than Grant.Clark plays better defense,is stronger,quicker,can dribble drive and rebounds.Clark is more consistent and if Grant isnt hitting shots,he seems to dissappear especially against Dukes would have to win 27-28 games to have a shot at a at large bid.The out of conference schedule is ok. Thank you thankyou Grammy I used to live 50 miles from Huntington.50 years ago Huntington was a prosperous area,steel,manufacturing. CLK you are amazing. I agree, Lebron is not a part of the Duquesne family.He is a good guy,does alot for Akron and is also a publicity hound.Dambrot is a loyal guy to Akron and i imagine Joyce is also. Akron St.Marys -St Vincent is still a powerhouse and Duquesne has a connection to the high school in Dambrot and Its a nice gesture by KD to help promise school and its a neutral court setting against a good team.If it makes Dambrot happy great.It might provide a recruiting presence in the Akron area to play a game there. I was interested in your observations from watching practice All I want to do is travel 3 hours and cheer the Dukes to a NCAA invite this year.I wear the Duquesne fan gear around Columbus and called the ticket office inquiring to buy season tickets with no response.No matter,I Dukes have played 2 years in a 3,500 seat arena and have not once had a capacity crowd,Duquesne opened We need to focus on this season.Getting to to a Ncaa tournament.Duquesne is light years away from being

scholarships reduced until the school and media members questioned the dangers of lost scholarships
might endanger the Penn State players safety during the time PSU was being punished for the Paterno

'advantages in depth,speed,size and strength.Duquesne makes a lot of money from these beat downs but
the health and wellness of our players supercede money taken in.Either upgrade the program with more scholarship
players,expand the stadium and improve the strength facitities or drop the program down to a Division 3 level
where the Dukes can compete at a level of competition suited for a team playing in a 2000 seat field for its home games.Soon when a devastating spinal or brain injury occurs it will be too late when one of our players life is

the basketball program to fail,we hevent been relevant for over 40 years...Im a Duquesne fan to the core of my being and this board is here to exchange information and everyone has the right to a opinion.I failed the program but so did a lot of other folks in contributing to the woeful 50 years
of dereliction and inncompetence.I want something better and anticipate a special season from our Beloved Bluffites. the last bit of information coming out of Duquesne is the coaching staff is out recruiting 3 players in North Carolina.Until Duquesne signs players to come here its not news worthy.If I lived locally you better believe
