Nice win. We’re one big man away from a solid team. Duquesne would attract more if we played a few home games at Highmark. Makes perfect sense. Where’s the trophy? Agree Med! You know your Duquesne History! I totally agree. It’s heartbreaking to see the promise of this season fizzle but they did what they could with what they had. Coach Schmidt made a decent observation. Aside from 2 4th quarters the Dukes would be in a very different season. The Duke’s lack of size will keep this closer than it should be. Dukes by 4. The Dukes have another heart attack ending and come back to pull it out in the last minute… Odd calls and decisions could have thrown this game either way. Nice rundown lucky- thanks! Sacred Heart is the only team at 4-1. Is there still a chance? It’s tough to win without your first few quarterbacks all out. They may have to give Tadd a helmet and have Alex alone in the booth today vs LIU. Oh well… 🙄 Dukes are favored anywhere from 5.5 to 9. Thanks again Duquesne President Gormly just published a legal thriller. Should I wait for the movie? One of the most entertaining games ever if I’m a neutral observer 21-14 at the half. Bad decision on a fake punt hurt a bit. Bryant is actually out gaining the Dukes. The Dukes are favored by 14.5 this week. I don’t think that the Dukes cover. Bryant always plays us tough. They beat Brown last week and are probably the next best team in the NEC now. One Duquesne broadcasting legend filling in for another this week for the Bryant game. Hopefully Alex is well enough next week. The Dukes should have been in the playoffs last year too but they changed the rules. The best team didn’t go last year or for a few years when the tiebreakers fell the other way…but I guess that’s the breaks and why they play the games.
