With Davidson considered one of if not the best team in our league, what if anything can we take away from this game relative to Duquesne? Styles make the match. Davidson couldn't handle Pitt's superior strength inside; so they had to help; leaving outside shooters open, and pitt again was knocking down the shots. Unfortunately we will not have the same type of players to dominate inside. Davidson also got crushed earlier this year by UNC. Again they were just too big and athletic for Davidson. As a fan of the dukes however you gotta like the score. Either the blow out by pitt was because they are just extremely good this year or Davidson shows to be not to be last years team. A bit of both. Pitt is no longer the grind it out team of the past. They're now built to compete in the ACC. The Dukes dwelt in the starting gate against Pitt and lost the game in the first 5 minutes. It didn't have to be that way. Totally agree Apple, this is a team that will live and die by the three, let's see where it takes us.

Thanks to DC's clutch free-throw shooting, the awful streak against RMU is broken, despite a terrible shooting game.
I'm saying again: this Duquesne team could beat just about anybody when they are on.
