Happy Holidays to the Duquesne Community

Here is a tweet from basketball insider Jon Rothstein.

An under-the-radar story in the Atlantic 10: Jim Ferry quietly has Duquesne off to its best start in nearly four decades. Dukes are 10-2.

Happy Holidays.

Re: Happy Holidays to the Duquesne Community

This has been a long time fans dream, Dukes are playing well and winning. It's not quite but similar to the 11 game streak during Rons tenure, something that should be enjoyed but still realizing that it's a long season. I am happy for the kids and coaches who I think work hard and sometimes don't get the results that they want. I am one fan that is enjoying this and hope for a 20 win season a some type of post season bid.
Thanks Dukes, Merry Christmas.....

Re: Happy Holidays to the Duquesne Community

To all Dukes' alumni and fans, I wish you a very Merry and Blessed Christmas.  To help in your festivities, here's a link to one of my favorite novelty Christmas songs, which many of you may have never heard, "Mambo Santa Mambo," by the Enchanters:

Yeah, the nervous optimism does remind me of the 11 game streak.
