Bonnies

Our record in the league so far has been predictable. We lost the games we should have and won the game we should have. Saturday against the Bonnies will show a lot as to who we are. This is an important game to win.

Absolutely! The Bonnies are one of the better teams in the league. This is the type of game we need to win at home if we really want to end up with a nice season. We have 7 home games left, only one of which appears unwinnable (GW). We have 2 road games where we will have a solid chance to win (GMU, SLU). That is 8 games where we will either be favored, or be slight underdogs. We need to win 6 of these 8 games. That would leave us at 17-14, going into Brooklyn. If we could win 7 of those, plus steal one of the harder games, that would leave us at 19-12, with a chance to earn a rare 20 win season.

+1.  This is much better phrased than I'd have done it but echoes my sentiments exactly.

Re: Bonnies

What is Duquesne's all time record with St. Bonnies?

Re: Bonnies

In the forty years of the A-10 (Eastern Eight) it is 33-18 favoring the Dukes, with 19-5 at home.

Re: Bonnies

If GW can lose at SLU maybe they can lose here. Shades of last year.

We've been playing them a lot longer than that though.

Re: Bonnies

GW is a different team away from their tiny gym.  The Dukes crushed them last year at Palumbo and can do it again.  As mentioned above GW lost to St Louis on the road.  No reason to fear them at AJ.

Re: Bonnies

Bonnies are favored by 2.5 points. Pomeroy has the Bonnies winning 76-74,  giving the Dukes of 42% chance of winning.

Re: Bonnies

Excited for the game tonight.  Let's see if...
-Ferry can outcoach his opponent
-The players can outplay their opponent
-The Athletic Administration can get more than 50 students to the game tonight
-We can compete against a good team that we are capable of beating at home
-Gonna be ticked if we lose this one

Re: Bonnies

We're giving them a game so far. Need a quick start after the half. Giving up a wide open 3 to end the half hurts.

Re: Bonnies

Played well. As the season progressed it started to look like colter was trying to do too much. I think the first half was the same, with a number of bad turnovers and shots that were too quick into the clock. In the second half he took more opportunities within the flow of the offense and the result was seen. Hopefully the solid interior d and sharing of the ball continues. That is when this team looks dangerous
