Offline Offline Offline Change team to "Atlantic 10" on the A-10 site and it's streaming free. Offline This game is making me nervous. A loss might mean the WNIT again. Offline Had 'em all the way. I was never worried. Offline 26 wins equals the 1954 men's team for the most ever by a Duquesne basketball team. Offline Fordham just wasn't missing in the 3rd quarter. Luckily they cooled a bit at the end and the Dukes are moving on. Unbelievable game. Fordham just couldn't miss great win. Go Dukes!!! Offline Dukes hung tough when Fordham got hot; never panicked, hit their free throws down the stretch. A very good, well coached team that deserved this win. Workman is a MVP workhorse. Go Dukes! I'm thinking that we now might be playing with house money, if the bid is secured (and from most indications, it is). Offline I don't want to leave anything to chance. Win the A-10 tourney and lock it up on your own. Too many people out there trying to put the A-10 down. Offline I don't want to leave anything to chance. Win the A-10 tourney and lock it up on your own. Too many people out there trying to put the A-10 down. It's been that way for a while with folks downplaying the A10, yet the A10 still has remained a 2-3 bid league for the women. The Dukes women should be a lock at this point, as there's no bad losses yet to potentially hit them. Today's win moved the Dukes up to #20 in the RPI all else equal (Edit..probably 21st after Michigan State will be in front after a win over Purdue). A loss to SLU would leave their RPI at .61214 all else equal, which would be 25th in the country. With a pair of top 50 wins and 7 top 100 wins, there's not really teams that the committee could put ahead even with a L to SLU. Compare DU's resume to Auburn, Rutgers, St John's, Indiana, Duke, NC St, Purdue, and USC and I don't think you can make a case for Duquesne to be below those teams - and they would likely have to be below half of those teams. At worst, the Dukes will be 26-5. No way they would leave us out with a record like that. Offline The women might be televised on 854 Comcast today at 1:30pm .It days A10 semis. I was so impressed seeing those ladies hit their free throws in crunch time, and thinking, Yep if this was the men's team, they would go about 1-5 and end up losing by 5. 1 of 1
