Avid recruiter.  Well organized recruiting staff; most effective can recall in modern era.  Brings in 'bigs' who can walk and chew gum, Soko, Lewis, Gill, Sanders, Mike.  Ably signs recruits and transfers early and often.  Willing to take chances on former hi-flyers, Stevens, Castro, Smith, who may/not work-out.  Favorite pick-up, Q's AAU coach referral to Glesmann, of the reported 4star recruit.  A former poster closer to the program than most once remarked on his board that Ferry makes it hard for recruits to say no. Foundation built to eventually corral 3and4 stars but must show he can win here.
