    Future opponents on the Football schedule

    Here'a link to an article in STATS which is about NEC teams who have scheduled or are scheduling to play FBS teams:

    The last sentence of the article addresses the Dukes: "Duquesne appears on the verge of jumping into playing the FBS as well."

    It is my understanding that the Dukes have been in negotiation with Army, a FBS team, to add them on a future schedule.  Seeing the Dukes playing at West Point would make a very attractive road game to attend.

    Still loving the idea of a West Point trip, but actually, we played Buffalo a couple seasons ago.

    Indeed. It was their season opener after they had scored an upset or near upset over a power conference program, and had thei star drafted in the first round of the NFL draft.

    On the topic of future scheduling, don't be surprised if we see Fordham, a very good FCS team (ranked #19 in STAT's final FCS Poll), playing the Dukes on a home and home basis.
