Re: Jeremiah Jones joins staff

Wow, love this, was hoping something like this would happen. Four year letter winner and captain. Definitely a team first guy who remained engaged and enthusiastic throughout a time where many would be depressed and in a state of despair. This was a guy who clearly bought into the program, and would be great in terms of talking to recruits.

Great! He's definitely one of those guys you could see as a future coach while he was still playing.

Re: Jeremiah Jones joins staff

He told me at the Gulf Coast Classic that he wanted to play professional basketball, but that was before the season ending injury.

Getting a Masters and a foot into coaching is a great career choice for this pleasant young man.

Re: Jeremiah Jones joins staff

He intends to play overseas after he finishes his Masters and rehabs for a year. At least that is what his intentions are/were as of this summer.  The best part of his staying a year will be his ability to  impart leadership qualities on individual players on the team, especially Tarin Smith.
