Saw in the Trib Review - the ladies hoops coach at Dayton (Jim Jabir) has resigned - Went to a Dayton site - it is effective immediately - no regular replacement was named. Dayton seemed to be pretty well coached for the most part - before last season the Lady Dukes had problems with them - and even though the Dukes smacked 'em pretty good at Palumbo - the game at Dayton went into OT and Dayton had like seven scholarship players dressed. He left because of health reasons. There was speculation on the Dayton board that he didn't announce it earlier so their 3 highly touted freshman wouldn't decommit. Not sure if I buy that at all.

Dayton Coach Resigns
Wonder what (if anything) might happen to the young lady from Cardinal Weurl (Sam Breen) who gave Dayton a verbal - her second choice was reportedly Virginia Tech.
Re: Dayton Coach Resigns
I can't see how Dayton will get a coach other than an assistant. They would be better off naming an interim from the staff and naming a new one next season if needed.
That is three very successful coaches give from A10 in one season. SBU coach to Providence, GWs coach to Wisconsin and now Jabir.
