Big 2nd half comeback to beat Bryant

Duquesne survived a scare by beating Bryant 35-31 on the Bluff today. Once down 24-7 late in the 2nd quarter, the Dukes outgained the Bulldogs 324-79 in the second half.

Buechel's line: 15-23-1-298-4 (plus a fumble lost), with all 4 TDs going to graduate transfer Blair Roberts, who smashed his career high in yards with 153.

AJ Hines went 30-147-1, saving his best for last (again) with 66 4th quarter yards.

Aside from the bad turnovers, the Dukes were annoyingly consistent on offense, going 10/17 on 3rd downs, and had over 36 minutes of possession, which have both been strongsuits this season.

Re: Big 2nd half comeback to beat Bryant

Unfortunately, to win the NEC, everything the Dukes do has to be weighed against what St. Francis does. They beat Sacred Heart today to move to 4-0.

St. Francis's remaining schedule:
11/12 vs. Central Connecticut St. (1-7, 0-3)
11/19 @ Wagner (4-4, 2-1)

Duquesne's remaining schedule:
11/5 @ Wagner (4-4, 2-1)
11/12 vs Sacred Heart (6-2, 1-2)
11/19 @ Central Connecticut St. (1-7, 0-3)

The only way in for Duquesne is for St. Francis to lose both of their games and for Duquesne to win out

Ain't gonna happen this year. SFU isn't going to lose to CCSU. That game was essentially the title game last week.
