Given how good the Duke's women's team has been, I wonder why Duquesne was unable to secure broadcast coverage on the radio.  They clearly are the best D-1 team in western PA.  Pitt had radio coverage on AM radio last season, and they were pretty bad last year, 13-18 (4-12).  I would think that if Pitt wins only 4-6 games in the ACC this season, the excitment at Pitt of its hiring of Suzie as Pitt's head coach in 2013 will be greatly deminished in the Pitt AD's office.

Is Duquesme really interested in securing coverage beyond lip service? They have never covered the team in road games (except for the occasional game). RMU has had internet coverage home and away for years for their women's team.

I guess the key is to get enough advertisers to pay for radio broadcast air time.
