Offline Offline I think the fact that he played in a program that traveled around the country and played teams filled with future NBA talent really allowed him to adapt quickly to the college game. Offline You could be right, besides a slight tendency to commit charges here and there, his offensive game looks really polished. The offensive foul thing will improve as he gains confidence and a feel for this level of hoops. The fact that he made a layup and then hit three free throws to take the lead from 2 to 7 at the end of one of the biggest games on one of the biggest stages of the season shows the poise he plays with already. That was his 9th college game, and he scored 10 of his 15 points in the second half. That's a gamer. And he still made bad shooting decisions against Pitt

Second straight ROW and three overall. For as much attention we pay to I mike (which he deserves) this kid is having one of the best offensive starts to a DU career in some time.

Re: Mike Lewis II
We might of benefitted from him being on the same team as Jayson Tatum, the frosh at Duke that will be a top 5 NBA draft pick next year, from the aspect of being overshadowed by him. This kid looked like a pure facilitating point guard and was advertised to be as much. He was obviously deferring but this kid can score from all over the floor in a number of ways. •Thread Starter

But he was clutch down the stretch AND had no turnovers against Pitt. Hopefully he keeps rising to the challenge.
