Everything I was told he would be. 6 assists to 0 turnover ratio Tarin has shown flashes of the player everyone thought he would be coming out of high school. I think he will be a very good player by the end of his career here. The two freshmen continue to look good. They need to work on taking care of the ball though. Too many turnovers from them. I think Tarin's play reflected the fact that the ten day period without any games allowed him to strengthen the leg affected by the knee surgery. He was able to play with more confidence playing on two legs instead of 1.5 legs! He indicated that the knee still isn't 100%, but improved a good bit with strength excercises during the break. Hoping this performance was just a glimpse of what is yet to come for Tarim. This team really needs him to control things on the court. Most impressive thing about last night was no turnovers, despite the fact that Jackson St stayed in a 1-2-2, 3/4 court defense most of the entire second half. It wasn't all out full court pressure, but clearly designed to create turnovers. The Dukes improved a great deal in remaining calm and handling the defense.
