Offline Dukes Coaches - A-10 Conference Record - Futility Division Offline Hey, if you hit .250 in baseball they would consider you a solid player! Offline Dukes Coaches - A-10 Conference Record - Futility Division Yikes that is just abysmal. Give him a pass for the first year and what he inherited and that is still abysmal. And think of the four or five wins he "urinated" away during last year's swoon. Offline Ferry still has a chance to catch the ol' perfessor. Partly because Nee could run the ol' picket fence play with the game on the line and Ferry runs the ol' crap yer trousers play. Offline Ferry still has a chance to catch the ol' perfessor. Partly because Nee could run the ol' picket fence play with the game on the line and Ferry runs the ol' crap yer trousers play. You're right, ElDuque. Nee had a ton of issues, but he was a smarter basketball guy than Ferry. Offline Nee could get an open 3 from the corner on under the basket inbounds better than any other coach we've had. Other than that he had his struggles. Offline Nee could get an open 3 from the corner on under the basket inbounds better than any other coach we've had. Other than that he had his struggles. Yes, 39 of them. As in the first 39 minutes of a game. Offline Nee could get an open 3 from the corner on under the basket inbounds better than any other coach we've had. Offline Dukes Coaches - A-10 Conference Record - Futility Division Never seen these records next to each other before. God help the next guy. Offline Dukes Coaches - A-10 Conference Record - Futility Division To Nee's credit (did I really just type that?) he followed Porter, so he started out at quite a deficit. His last year was a mess and he lost control, so to be even comparable to the current guy is amazing. Offline I say he gets another year to build a winner with the returning players and the three incoming freshmen. Offline I say he gets another year to build a winner with the returning players and the three incoming freshmen. No. Offline I say he gets another year to build a winner with the returning players and the three incoming freshmen. If they lose out, which now seems like a sure thing, there is no way on Earth Harper can bring Ferry back. The last remnants of a season ticket/open checkbook base would finally have enough and walk. He wouldn't have 300 people in the stands next year. Offline I say he gets another year to build a winner with the returning players and the three incoming freshmen. Re: Ferry has Rebuilt us Back to the Old Days
He still can't coach worth a damned lick. Next year we'd have the same record, the same tired excuses, just different players being tossed under the bus.
Bring back Ferry because he's still under contract?
All it shows is a failed commitment to a failed coach. It would alienate what's left of the fan base, and any hope for attracting money to the program.
Wake up Mr. Harper. We need a change and it needs to happen moments after we're eliminated.
