End of an Era finally in sight?

This morning on Pittsburghs premier sports talk radio station, 93.7 the fan, there was a good sign. At the end of the morning show they make predictions for stuff to happen before the next show. The main guy said if Dukes lose to UMASS tonight Ferrys seat will become very, very hot. It was Colin Dunlap, didn't he used to cover DU hoops???? Very positive statement towards what we want from a guy who likely has some inside info.

I've never understood why every time we have been on tv (specifically the past two seasons) that the commentators always acted like ferry just took over the program recently. This is his fifth year. You can no longer use the cupboard was bare excuse after your second season. Good to see some media people finally start holding him accountable.

Re: End of an Era finally in sight?

Dunlap created his own drama at Duquesne with Shoegate. That ended up being a big cause of friction between Amodio and Everhart; and we know what that led to.

He's persona non grata on this board, and I'm going to leave it at that. Those who've been here for a while know what I'm talking about.

Yes, but my heart breaks thinking about his daughter.

I cant believe he has any listeners, or the fact he gets paid for the job he does, he is awful, and so is everyone else at 93.7.  Its the pitt suck-up station, Paul Zeise thinks pitt can still make the NCAAs.
Thank goodness for Sirius radio!

Buddy it's the official radio station of Pitt and the Pirates, they are literally paid to be biased and cover Pitt. Also, they have to talk about what sells, what people care about. How many people do you really think would tune in to hear about DU at the moment, RMU, CMU, or point park.

But the agree with you. I hate the morning show with Dunlap Miller and Colony. Hate cook and poni. Love Zeis and Starkey and mueller for the comedy driven sports coverage they provide.

I know they are the "home" of pitt and the Pirates.
I tune into 93.7 when Scott Ferrell comes on 10p-2a.  Zeise is fine, in small doses.  :-)
That station is half commercials anyway.
