Offline I believe that this article still holds water. I've reviewed Bobby Mo's home attendance over the past several years when they were the reigning kings of the NEC, and I struggled to find very few dates that they were even close to a sell-out. As I recall, the only true sell-out was their 1st round NIT game against Kentucky a few years ago. As a taxpayer, it ticks me off that they recently received a $2 million grant from the Pennsylvania Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program for this athletic arena which will create very few, if any, new permanent jobs and provide limited activities for the surrounding community. I think that private colleges should generally not be funded with government grants for athletic facilities unless the facility is located on or near a bluff in a large city and whose college's name starts with the letter "D". At the end of the peripatetic season, bring in a new coach to reopen the PC with a bang. Start fresh in both areas. Then we might actually have a decent team to reopen Palumbo with. Offline Ferry's focused on the Tournament. What other coaches can do in two years, it takes Jimmy 10 years to build a program (he says). These stories are being planted by the administration. Now it's obvious. Just read the new "point in favor of keeping Ferry," all of which are lifted right from the discussions on this board. E.g., Lewis would leave if Ferry left. Offline If DU is going to spend that kind of money on arena upgrades, and lets say those upgrades aren't complete until the start of the 2019 season, that gives Ferry one more year. He can keep his young stars, add in the recruits, who do sound promising, but if after next year DU doesn't have their arrow pointing up, and some post season bid, then Ferry, and his young stars can hit the bricks. If opening an upgraded arena with a team of 4-5 quality players(plus whoever he can recruit next year) isn't enough to motivate Ferry to be the best he can be, then can him.

What other coaches can do in two days, it takes Jimmy the whole season to game plan a 40 minute contest. He just wanted to peak for the A-10 tourney.
Here's one for you, ElDuque. I just want to friggin' scream.
Why the hell does Ferry deserve anything? Gorman is an idiot; has anyone seen this clown at Palumbo?
