Re: Mike Lewis II Update

This is REALLY Big -  Have thought for years PG is your MOST Important Position -  Not just points, assists etc. But knowing when to speed it up, when to slow it down, getting the ball to the RIGHT PERSON at the RIGHT TIME in the RIGHT SPOT --  THAT doesn't always show up in the score sheet - but didn't you just CRINGE in that "weave offense" when the ball winds up in Darius' hands 50 feet from the hoop with 6 seconds on the shot clock.

Big Men are Nice -  But why do you think they call the PG -  THE QUARTERBACK??

I think they need another similar caliber player from this class to get much better than just .500 / CBI while Mike is here, but having him back is a great start.

What are you talking about? That is ridiculous how can you sit here and project that by three years from now the best we can do is .500 and CBI?

You have no idea who will be coming during those years, much less this year with grad transfers. What if Dambrot can get another Ovie Soko type big man this year or next? What if he starts bringing significantly better kids immediately? What if Lewis makes another huge jump next year to a first team all conference level player and we bring a couple more solid pieces this off-season? Is that so hard to imagine? What a dumb thing to say.

There's now way in hell you can project out the next three years two weeks into Dambrots tenure. This is a huge get I could see your ridiculous prediction next year, not three years from now.

We were .500 and CBI with Ferry in 2015 and that team was probably less talented than last years.

I think we're actually saying pretty darn close to the same thing. You're suggesting they could get another high end Atlantic 10 player that will get them better than .500/CBI. I'm saying they need to get that player to be better than .500/CBI. Not saying it can't or won't happen.

General observation, but usually the A-10 teams that come out of the league for one of the NCAA sanctioned tournaments either have two all conference players or one high end guy and a couple other who are really, really close. The point is that re-recruiting Lewis is a great start but he needs some more help and the chances get better if they get that player this signing period.

Yeah your right we basically are saying the same thing. That's what Makes the loss of Isiaha Mike so painful, he could have been that second guy. Everybody else is replaceable or we can get better IMO.
