Well we know that with KD at the helm we are infinitely better off than with the previous staff. Even with players that bailed, we will surely be better than we would have been if somehow the last regime had survived for another year. Looking forward to the building process and don't expect more that a couple of years before we are competitive in the A-10. Loved the interview. KD truly believes he will win sooner than later. Who am I to disagree! I'm just saying let's trying and keep our expectations low this year. This time last year people, including myself, were overly optimistic. Agree with you, currentstudent. I do not want to be overly optimistic in year one. I also don't wish to convey any negativity here as one poster is chronically guilty of. I would not ascribe a specific number of wins either this or next year. Being competitive doesn't necessarily reflect wins but the ability of the team to play with other A-10 teams, to belong on the same floor if you will. We should see that earlier than we might reasonably expect. GO DUKES! For me, I want to see the best defense and offense that can be Last year the team built leads and lost them, they couldn't finish.

Re: Nice Interview with Dambrot
Lets just remember that this team next year shouldn't have high expectations.
And that's okay

executed based on available talent.
I want the days of 'up tempo, pressure defense, two three zone' nonsense to be gone.
No more blather of 'the players can't play man to man defense or fifth year of a ten year plan.'
If KD and the team can produce a winning season while developing a solid defense and efficient offense I will be satisfied.

Re: Nice Interview with Dambrot
Now only about 5 are left from that team, a bunch of right sized recruits are in and we are being told a new way of playing is being introduced.
Patience will be needed, enjoyment is anticipated.
Have a Happy 4th of July....
