Last game , 4th of 4 straight starts, posted 13 points, 6 boards and 7 assists, played into the number two point guard, played 31 min, Mike will be 38 in June. Thanks for the info on Mike James Phil. I have posted about Mike recently; he is an amazing guy at 38 to be performing very well at highest level of basketball on the planet, and on a good team. He was brought in on a ten-day contract initially by Dallas; and the coach noticed that his team just functioned better with Mike at the point; so he began to play him more and more; especially at critical times down the stretch in close games. His knowledge of the game and ability to get the ball to the right guy in the correct spot on the floor is important. He was always an incredible athlete and can still explode to the basket when he gets the opening. What really helped make Mike a championship caliber NBA player was the way he improved his outside shot. . When his career is over he may be the Duke with the longest NBA career of all time. I'm sure one of the stats guys can check on that one. Congratulatioins to Mike James! Thanks for the info on Mike James Phil.
