Women's team kicks off a new year on the bluff

The 1st game for any team on the Bluff is the women's soccer game between Duquesne and Pitt.

Sr Linnea Facenda (#5) and Jr Casey Aunkst (#2) were named to A10 all conference earlier this month.

The Dukes returned 9 of the 11 main starters from last season, and they return all but one player who scored at least two goals.

Pitt is already 1-0.

Pitt leads the all-time series 8-4, but the Dukes have prevailed in the last two games, both at PItt
