Men's team home opener today
the dukes return 7 of their 11 starters last season
D Cody West
M Ian Larson, Noah Mehta, Ryan Landry and George Poppas
F Zach Hall and Fredrik Borenstein
Borenstein, Landry, Larson, Hall, and Austin Stout were the top 5 point-scorers last season and they're all back
However, they are in a GK conundrum. I didn't watch the away game on Friday, but 4 goals to give up is not good for a keeper's confidence in his first D1 game ever.
This season starts off the back of possibly the best freshmen class ever recruited at Duquesne, ranked top 20 by TopDrawerSoccer. The freshmen/bench players did look very good in their last exhibition match I watched.
The Dukes were picked to finish 7th of 13 teams in the A10. The top 8 teams make the A10 tournament, and the top 4 seeds host the first-round game (new this year)
