We've been looking forward to that day for thrity years and what's funny is now we are saying Robert Morris where we used to say Pitt in that very thought!

We have one of the absoulute worst programs top to bottom ine very sport  of any division I university anywhere  (one lone bright spot Coach McConnell Serio I am so sorry your fine ladies were screwed over for an 18-11 Kansas team in part because  "Hey they're Kansas, who the f**k is Duquesne?).

We are garbage!

What do you suggest? I'm giving Ferry and Co. three years to show us the kind of turnaround that we want to see. What else can I do but support them by buying two season tickets and getting to the games? I have as much passion for Duquesne basketball as ever. Again, what do you suggest that I or anyone else do at this moment.BTW, I really can't imagine any recruits who might read this stuff desiring to come here. Hope I'm wrong!

I got news for you Pal.   Nobody reads this board but US!  Less than a hundred alumni who actually care about this program. Anyone who graduated in the last three decades never cared and never will care about Duquesne hoops.  And I don't blame them.

You are mostly wrong.  I am NOT an alumni...yet I am a season ticket holder (3 years now).  We live in PIttsburgh and are constantly hearing from friends and colleagues how they would really like for Duquesne to be relevant again.  There are many people who are just waiting for a reason to get behind the basketball program (again, in some cases).  The folks who I talk too, who are involved in local hoops at all levels, absolutely want to love the team, and will support them if they win.

You are correct, however the biggest Dukes bashers I meet are usually Duquesne Alumni.  That's really the tragedy in all this.  You all are a big part of the problem.

It's quite simple, if the team wins, it will draw interest from the many Div. I basketball fans in the 'burgh.  As evidenced by what I see and hear, when this happens the seats in Palumbo will most likely not be filled by Duquesne alumni, but rather real basketball fans.

Even better.
