Just because I’m tired of hearing about a certain family, I have two questions. Offline Just because I’m tired of hearing about a certain family, I have two questions. I always liked those uniforms. If they're using them because they like the look, I have no problem with them. If they're doing it to remind us of a great era, then that's the wrong uniform, as we weren't anything special when we wore them. Personally, I prefer the 50s style over everything else. Offline I was hoping for more than 2,000 but because the opponent isn't a brand name I think that would be a fair assessment as far as attendance. It also depends on what is going on that night in the city.
Branding and attendance
Are the retro Dukes 70s uniforms, the main uniform? I like those uniforms but I don’t think they make much sense from a marketing or branding standpoint. The merchandise they sell with the current logo is different than uniforms. Not certain why they would be doing that unless planning a logo change. Any thoughts?
Also, we would all like to see increased attendance this year. I like them moving game times to 5:30 so to not have to deal with the Penguins traffic.
I know Palumbo won’t be filled on Saturday. But I hope we can get at least 2,000 for the opener. And a real 2,000 people. Modest goal but reachable. Anyone have an attendance prediction for opener?
