April Fools Day

Why is there no humor on this board?  At least the Houston Astros picked the song with lyrics, starting from the bottom, as their theme song for their new American League tenure.  Duquesne needs some humor, at least for one day.

What are you talking about Bilgy, Duquesne BB is the definition of humor. When I see St. Bonaventure and La Salle making the NCAA and Duquesne starting another 5 year rebuilding program, I can't draw any other conclusion.

This is how I picture the majority of the posters on this board:

Re: April Fools Day

Does anyone remember the April Fools edition of the Duke that had Duquesne signing a 7'6" all-world player from China?  I fell for it.  What a lineup that would have been.

Not sure if I will spell it right but the name was Chin Tzu Wang. Great creation by I think Dave Morris and sports editor Steve Hecht if I remember correctly.

Re: April Fools Day

I got called into Red Manning's office and threatend with expulsion for my April Fool's issue.

Nellie didn't speak to me for a week. Mike Rice thought it was funny.

Re: April Fools Day

The story about the 7'6" Chinses player is funny.  Best April Fools joke I've ever heard about was when workers at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) put up a big sign along the taxiway that said "Welcome to Chicago".
