Offline Last edited by CLK (4/08/2019 10:35 am) Offline 3rd team all state his senior season. Averaged around 17,5, 5, 2 his junior year. 20, 5, 4, 2 his senior year. Offline I cant say I mind getting a player from NJ. Offline Looks like he can play the 1, 2 or 3. Needs to bulk up. Offline Miller climbs into top 10 Last edited by townsonkid (4/08/2019 11:49 am) Offline I like this kid’s game a lot. Great size for a guard and seems to have to ability to get into the lane which is something we were missing this year. Offline Has anyone found info on other schools that offered him? Offline Has anyone found info on other schools that offered him? I saw RMU and NJIT. There was another but I can’t remember who it was. Offline FDU as well.. Offline Thanks Offline Not impressed with the other schools that offered. Of course, doesn't mean anything. Offline Not impressed with the other schools that offered. Of course, doesn't mean anything. Remember, Eric and sincere had zero D1 offers other than Duquesne. I think coach D has earned our trust when it comes to talent evaluation. Offline I like what I see so far; but you never know until he gets on campus! Offline A lot of talent and good competition in NJ and Seton Hall Prep has produced some good ones - I'll take him and I like what I see on the tape as far as getting to the hoop and also passing. His size at the PG is a big plus as well. Offline This is obviously an Ashton Gibbs recruit. Would be a good sign if he's able to start landing players. KD is a Great Lakes guy, which is fine, but I've felt we were weak in the areas within 100 miles of NYC, which is where we've landed many great players over the years. We need to be strong inside of the A10's footprint. Offline Not impressed with the other schools that offered. Of course, doesn't mean anything. I just wish we can develop a steady program that actually graduates some players. Like I said, I like getting a player from NJ. Get some toughness in here. Like I said, I like getting a player from NJ. Get some toughness in here. Me too. Unfortunately, college basketball is totally different today. And it’s just going to get worse as they continue to liberalize the transfer rules. They are handing out waivers like candy these days. It will be free agency at some point, which is going to kill low and mid major basketball. Offline Ashton Miller senior season highlights. Smooth player and like the height at guard. Cousin of the Gibs guys. Offline Improvement over Wade. Offline He sure looks good on that highlight reel Offline He sure looks good on that highlight reel Wade looked good on his highlight films too. I'll reserve judgement until he hits the floor. Every year we hype up every prospect. Some live up to, or even exceed the hype, but most don't. Most of the players we land are projects. It's the nature of the beast at our level. Offline No comparison is beng made to Wade Offline No comparison is beng made to Wade No, but the point is, they all look good on highlight films. We'll see what he can do when he hits the floor. I'm patient, so I'm willing to wait and see, and hope he's a future stud. I expect to see a lot of three guard sets. Offline Should have added "considering the level of competition."
6'5" PG Ashton Miller has committed to Duquesne
Re: 6'5" PG Ashton Miller has committed to Duquesne
He's 6 5 and 190 pounds. That's pretty big already
Happened to notice that another prominent alumnus of that school is Ashton Gibbs.
I hate myself for loving you. Quoting me without the expressed written consent of the National Hockey League is prohibited.

It isn't easy cracking the top 10 all-time scoring list at Seton Hall Prep, where statewide luminaries such as Brevin and Brandin Knight, Keven McDonald and Gibbs brothers T.J., Sterling and Ashton resided, and where starters beyond two years has been a rarity. But the 6-5 Miller, the Gibbs' first cousin, reached that territory by raising his career total to 1,220 points, good for a tie for 10th place with 2005 graduate Brandon Costner. Gibbs, who is yet to commit, averaged 20.2 points this season to help Seton Hall finish 19-8. Miller averaged 25.8 points in five Essex County Tournament and North, Non-Public A games this year.
