Re: Dukes Foreign Tour

I cant recall but does anyone have specifics of when the Dukes are playing next week? Opposition? Radio or internet coverage?

We play Wednesday against Raw Talent Elite and Friday against Abaco Elite. Who those actually are and whether there will be any broadcast I don't know. I also know that most teams in the "tournament" are playing three games. So I suppose it's possible the Dukes will be playing another either before or after those. Re: Dukes Foreign Tour

Abaco Elite is apparently a semi-pro team in the Bahamas. They lost in the Bahamas Basketball Federation Division 1 national championship game this past year. I Googled some of their players' names but only found one who played at any level in the US: Shavanno Cooper, a 26-year-old 6-6 forward who played at Division II Palm Beach Atlantic College from 2015-17 after a couple of years at a community college in Florida. I can't find anything on Raw Talent Elite.

Re: Dukes Foreign Tour

FWIW, the games have started in the Bahamas.  Our first opponent on Wednesday, Raw Talent Elite, has played 2 games so far.  They lost to Furman on Sunday 91-80 and lost yesterday to McNeese St. 98-78.

From what I can see, the link that DennisC91 provided http://bbfn.web.geniussports.com/ will show a running score of the game in progress with no other stats.  Sometime after completion of the game, a comprehensive box score and play by play is posted to that website.

For you diehards, there are videos of both of these Raw Talent Elite games on YouTube (links below).  I'm hoping that we will be able to find the Dukes games on YouTube also.

Re: Dukes Foreign Tour

Phoenix thanks for the information.  Several schools including WVU have their foreign tour games streamed live on Flo Hoops, but not Duquesne.

I was looking at the schedule and some play 2 and some play 3.   I wonder if that is tournament decision or a school decision.  Seems odd.

31 games and 11 Universities.  US Universities do not play each other.  8 teams play 3 games and 3 teams play 2 games (per schedule).  Temple is showing 4 games on the schedule but their school website shows they are complete at 3 games.
