Just tried to link that May 29th article again without success. Last edited by PhoenixRising2 (6/09/2013 9:14 am) Offline Clearly that would be a great game for our women's team. Offline According to Coach Dan Burt who addressed the basketball season ticket holders on Wednesday evening the contract to play Nortre Dame (not specifically mentioning Notre Dame's name but certainly referring to it by implication) in Toronto on December 1, 2013, has not been sent to Duquesne yet. Notre Dame has already mentioned this game on its athleitic department's website. It appears that when dealing with the elite teams in women's college basketball there is a deliberate cautionary pace at which they proceed in the contracting process. Notre Dame is also slated to play Duquesne in Toronto around Thanksgiving in a homecoming game for Notre Dame's Natalie Achonwa, who is from Guelph, Ont.
Here is a related bit of information that appeared in the South Bend Tribune.com on Feb. 3, 2013:
There are also attempts to schedule a game in Toronto for Irish post Natalie Achonwa’s homecoming game, but that effort has hit some complications.
“We’re trying to play Duquesne in Toronto for Natalie Achonwa, and not have it considered a foreign tour,” McGraw said. “We’re working to have it be a regular game. Duquesne has some players from Canada on its roster, so it would work for both of us.”

The Dukes will have four Canadian players on next season's roster: seniors Wumi Agumbiade and Oditte Odisho, junior Jose-Ann Johnson, and freshman Brianna Thomas.
