Temple game

The Dukes lose after Temple pulls away late in the second half. After attending the first game and watching last night’s game, one thing is painfully obvious. The Dukes are a very slow defensive team. They have given up an average of 81 points in the two games because both the guards and especially the forwards constantly allowed both teams to drive the middle. Temple beat them down the floor and made a lot of uncontested threes. Perhaps the Dukes need to pack in a zone and keep teams on the outside. We have shot the ball well enough scoring 74.5 a game. But without defensive improvement, the A10 pre-season prediction might be on target. Go Dukes!

Re: Temple game

Might be a long year. The first time in about a decade that we're truly in a rebuilding phase.
