    KInd of an unusual night -  Rims were kind of shaky -  CCSU is one of the better free throw shooting teams in the country - they were missing Free Throws BADLY - DU was not much better  for a while it looked like NOBODY OTHER THAN ANGELA could make a shot other than a lay up -  Laia tried the first six shots of the second half as the team really tried to pound the ball inside -  Simmons (the walk on) played the last six minutes - Precious got in the game in the first quarter -  At least Bazelak and Kalin did not have to play their usual 35 plus minutes.  Caroline Elliott was in uniform for the first time but did not see action.

    The Dukes tore the CCSU zone apart With tremendous passing. They were very strong defensively, challenging everything. The Dukes bigs controlled the inside. Was just a beat down. This team is improving. Go Dukes!

    By the way, the women wore a good looking white uniform tonight which is the first time either of our teams wore white. Just another statement that this is OUR CITY since the win happened in Oakland. Go Dukes!
