    Ladies Beat Toledo

    Margin was 4 or 5 -  Amanda and Nina helped get Dukes off to a good start - lead was 10-12 most of the way - Toledo got within 5 in the middle of the fourth quarter but Kiersten drained a HUGE #3 - Team shot the free throws well down the stretch (Paige and Amaya each hit a pair)

    Toledo cut it to one in the last two minutes.    But we hit our free throws and had two defensive stops.  I think Toledo despite their record is the best team we have played and it was a solid win.

    It was a fun game to watch. Toledo was very disciplined and constantly attacked the basket but for the most part the Dukes walled up nicely. Amanda is just pure energy. Nina and Libby were solid offensively in their handles. Laia is becoming dominant down low. Amaya does so many little things so smartly.  A couple of questionable threes as Toledo made their run, but if made, game over.  Really gutsy team effort. Let’s get eight in a row. Go Dukes!
