They lost 84-41 - game was close for first quarter only (12-6) Laia had a decent game K. Elliott had 3 treys but otherwise Oklahoma State was just too good - Match Ups with teams in the A-10 should be closer athletic wise/talent wise - Will be nice to see Ladies win their share of the match ups. Athletic OSU overpowered the Dukes with their defense. Our three starting guards were 2-18 from the floor with only one really uncontested shot. As Al stated, Laia continued to be good on offense with 7-13 stat line against an athletic 6’4” center. Keirsten hit 3-5 from three. I also liked that Precious showed no backdown and seems to be improving. I wonder if Coach would consider playing Precious and Laia together. That would pose some match-up problems for A10 teams, help rebounding and add a touch more athleticism to the lineup. Think that would also give next year a boost. Laia, Precious and Amaya would be a formidable front line. Sometimes you can’t be afraid to tinker. Go Dukes!
