Great interview. Savran was prepared with good actual basketball questions, and as usual, Dambrot had some great answers. Sounds confident about the teams prospects in the league this year, as most of us are.
Biggest takeaway is that this interview will take place for the rest of the season every Tuesday at this time. Maybe we pin this thread moderators????
Will be interesting to hear these as A10 play progresses.

Savran has always been excellent. Keidan, and VonBenko were also good, as of course was Myron. Most of the rest you can keep.

- On Davidson: knew with Davidson pedigree they wouldn’t go away quietly; knew we’d have to fight it off and win close games. Proud of the guys
- On Sin: we have no chance if he doesn’t play well. Handles ball and makes everyone better plus he scores
- Good thing about team is we are balanced. Can score in 6 different spots
- Surprised by team? We haven’t topped out; can get a lot better. Played games 11-12 like we weren’t very good at all. Can we play against different styles is the key.
- St. Joe’s: better than record indicates. Very hard schedule so far in and out of league. Played Dayton tough; also Villanova. 50% of shots are 3’s
- Savran: Dukes are last to play a road game but every game for you is a road game – what’s that been like? Doesn’t want to make excuses. Already traveled a lot. Feels like he is on a constant camping trip.
- Power Center is not perfect but about as good as it can get.
- Savran: Are kids comfortable now that they played at RMU and LaRoche? Never practiced at RMU; believes it’s overblown now that there are AAU teams so kids are used to traveling.
- Have to self energize since a lot of people don’t know where they are playing and not a lot of people there.
- Savran: Are you in competition to be a league champ? No doubt we are competitive and can play with anyone in the league. Need to stay healthy and need to get better shooting 3’s to accomplish that. Generally my teams get better over time.
Apparently he will be on at 12:45 every Tuesday on Savran.
Thanks for posting the highlights, Mulder! Appreciated.
