I wasn't intending to convey any sarcasm at all. I thought I was expressing concern over possible mixed messaging & chiming in with your "Always confusing on the Bluff" sentence.

I hope all the overdue diehards get what they want & deserve for their perseverance. I also hope the excitement of the new arena & strong senior class converts a couple of hundred more casual fans into diehards.

Having a tough place to play means so much to recruiting & team morale. The combination of the Coop's novelty & what promises to be the best team since ... could pay student attendance dividends for a decade. In the best scenarios great student participation feeds better recruiting, feeds better student participation feeds better recruiting ad infinitum.
