He's declaring for draft after only junior year. He has another year of eligibility left but should be on target to graduate this year. This is a really insightful article on Isiaha Mike's journey through college basketball and life. I seem to remember a VCU player that had transferred, but then returned as a grad transfer. Come on back home Isiaha!!!!! I seem to remember a VCU player that had transferred, but then returned as a grad transfer. Come on back home Isiaha!!!!! I wouldn’t mind seeing Mike Lewis come back. Feel bad that he kind of got screwed by the NCAA but Isiaha Mike was also a good player. Saw a few of his SMU games. Well, Well, Did you mean to be saying he was a decent prospect for Duquesne? Yes, meaning that based on his freshman season for Duquesne; you could see that he had potential, if he was able to work out the shortcomings in his game. I think it makes sense for Isiaha to test the waters. This draft is much weaker than next years draft forecasts to be. He'd be able to go back to school if he hears it won't work for him. He took more 3 pointers last year, and improved his percentage. His FT%, which is typically a better indicator of 3pt% in the pros, was also pretty good. I don't know that he gets drafted, but I do think he's at least got a shot at it.
CURRENT RECORD 9 - 14 (4-6 in the A-10)

Re: Isiaha Mike
That's not going to happen in either case. Isiaha Mike played one year, here, and was a decent prospect, but to be a big-time player he needed to develop a strong long-range game. Judging from how he was used at SMU, which was basically the same way he was used at Duquesne, I would guess that shot never got to the point where the coach wanted him taking the three on a regular basis. He is a good rebounder, gets some follow-up baskets. He's gotten stronger but that would be expected for any player; so his game looks pretty similar to what it looked like as a freshman at Duquesne. I always had the feeling that he wasn't staying at Duquesne regardless of whether Ferry kept his job or not. So he was already on his way out the door by the time KD got here.
He can probably work on his shot with a shot specialist, and get better, but guys like him are a dime a dozen in the NBA; so he can probably make some money playing in Europe.
