Offline Offline ETSU was NET 36. While unlikely to repeat, a loss does not kill us. Furman was NET 74. Both of those wins would mean alot and losses wouldn't hurt much, if at all. If we cant afford a loss to a NET 36 team then we should just mail it in now. Offline ETSU was NET 36. While unlikely to repeat, a loss does not kill us. Furman was NET 74. ETSU was hit hard by graduation, so I expect they'll drop quite a bit. Still, as a non P5, you're expected to beat teams like that if you want an at large bid. We won't have a ton of shots at good teams ooc, so when you play them, you better win most. Maybe a loss to those schools isn't a black mark, but a lost opportunity. At selection time, the first thing they ask is "who'd you beat"? We need to get some scalps. Can't afford not to take advantage of chances to get quad 1 and 2 scalps. Would help if the league took care of business ooc as well, which would make the teams in the league rank higher. Can't have a situation like last year where because of injury, Bona was horrid ooc, resulting in what should have been a top 80-90 team, falling out of the top 100.
