Oops! I just noticed that CLK reported this news on another thread ("Recruiting of the Luthers"). Oh well, I guess it doesn't hurt to post what seems like favorable news twice.

Looks like we had a official visitor last week 9/26. 6'2" Guard Francis Kiapway. Not sure if he is still a target since we received a commitment from James.

Pitt has offered center Satchel Pierce from Kiski Prep. Duquesne had offered him a while back. Good to see DU and Pitt going after the same players. I hope we can win some of these soon.

On another note, not that many would still care, but I saw where Quevyn Winters who is at Indian Hills CC is scheduled to visit Butler this weekend.

It is definitely not a plus!! On a little different note, Pitt just ate Stanford last night and spit them out.
Another year vs. Pitt means...
Sometimes I think we go against them hoping not to lose and a team like Robert Morris (who also got their butt kicked last night) goes in trying to win. Just sayin' ...

I don't have any optimism for either game. I never view hope as a game plan.

But I wish we would beat both.

I have come to expect nothing less from our AD. He has no regard for the fan base. You would also think they would have put up a City Game story on the website to build up some excitment.

I like this kid and James but I sure as heck hope we are fishing for a quality PG. And by quality, I mean a kid from NJ, NYC, or Philly.
