I was trying to be the voice of calm and reason as recently as last night; but god damn can we catch a break? Hopefully it's just Winthrop who had already had Covid issues and not also Greensboro. Losing another game sucks, but losing two more I don't even have words for. Fortunately, the two highest rated teams in the league have been able to do some damage with limited opportunities. It's really a great thing for the league. If the Dukes, Bona, and Dayton can avoid stumbles during their limited ooc opportunities, it could really be a great year for the league. If it is Greensboro I worry about even playing our game tomorrow as they may determine Little Rock was exposed. Both Winthrop and UNCG have released statements regarding the cancellation. Winthrop is the team with the covid scare so we still have 2 games scheduled. UNCG's statement says they are scheduled to return to action December 1st against Prairie view.
