I am tired !!!!

I am tired of losing
I am tired of rebuilding
I am tired of this new branding bull (profanity) ( the old D and mascot are fine, doubt highly anyone is coming because of            that non sense. No one has to date; or stayed long if they did)
I am tired of hearing Dambrot coached LeBron ( big deal any one of us could of coached him and been successful; this has not led to any good recruits)
I am tired of watching an inferior college team
I am tired of this board losing posters on this board faster than Dambrot loses recruits and or players
I am tired of pretending that the coach can recruit or people giving excuses of why there have been bumps in the road.
I am tired of people saying he has improved us from year one to now. Hate to tell you, that record is a fabrication of the schedule maker not the improvement of the team.
I am tired of people saying we improved, TDM and M Hughes (Maceo and Sincere) are the same exact players as when they stepped on campus. I think Weathers the last two years just got back to playing shape.
I am tired of the lack of shooting; from free throw line to three point arc.
I am tired of the other team making adjustments at halftime and we look dumbfounded when this occurs.
I am tired of when we play a team a second time in the same season we lose, because the opponent coach makes adjustments.
I am tired of people saying Dambrot is a defensive coach, he can’t defend the three and too many easy lay ups.
I am tired of hearing players love to play for him. I see the opposite. T Smith left after one year. It took Mike Lewis another half of a semester before he left at the midpoint of the season. Two years were enough for Eric Williams. It took Sincere a little over two years. The rest of the men that left would have trouble playing Division 2 ball.
I am tired of hearing how coach finds diamonds in the rough, he found E Williams; Sincere was a risk because of bad knees we fixed for him. Out 24 players; not that good.
I am tired of pretending that the direction of the program is going up.
I am tired of hearing how Dambrot is into player development
I am tired of not one player reconstructing his body into a division 1 specimen.
I am tired of complaining for now
I am tired of Duquesne basketball and it’s only a few games into the season
I am tired because I am old

Re: I am tired !!!!

Well,,,I understand. But that is the state of a lot of programs. I can’t stand Pitt football but if you substitute some coaches n players names they have been there a while with the same complaints.

I survive because I look at the current Dambrot record and it is better than the previous coaches for many years (though he will probably have a losing season this year.)

But I can’t argue with most of what you said. Hang in there.   Go Dukes.

Amen and LOL Wildwood, Professor 1099 and others have spoken the same truth!  Hang in there as FAM suggests.
