    Jim Ferry named Head Coach at UMBC

    Jim takes over the reins from Ryan Odom, who moved on to Utah State.  UMBC plays in the America East conference.

    Wishing Jim the very best of luck at UMBC. Thought he did a pretty decent job when interim coach at Penn State.

    Yes, he was clearly out of his level at the A 10 level and the Big 10, this is probably a good fit for him

    I would tend to believe that JF is a better head coach now than he was when here. Could recruit pretty well just couldn't win with what he had. Bet he does a decent job there.
