Offline Ken Pomeroy has his first rankings out for this season. He has the Dukes at #173 in the country (out of 351 D-1 teams). He is projecting the Dukes to finish at 13-16 and 5-11 in the A-10, which merits a 12th place finish. A couple of other points: Offline Looks like he's not buying the URI hype. Not a lot of love for LaSalle either. Offline Dan Hanner does a projection of all D-1 teams for ESPN. Although not as statically driven as Pomeroy, Hanner uses player stas, team defense rankings and runs 10,000 computer simulations for each team. He has the Dukes at #203 in the country. He also provides a best case ranking (115th) and a worst case (254th).
