Offline Three questions as Duquesne begins its offseason | Pittsburgh Post-Gazette Offline Totally agree that Dixon is not our future center, at least I hope not. Not nearly physically strong enough IMO for that. Would be mis-cast at that position. Need a 6-10 230-40 pounder who has good basketball skills. Just what everybody else is looking for! Could be enough out there that we snag one. Then an experienced PG and a knock down shooter which we haven't seen here since MM.
CURRENT RECORD 9 - 11 (4-3 in the A-10)

Here are my thoughts so far:
1) I have not seen any Dukes in the Transfer Portal yet but that will most likely soon change.
2) I really like Dixon at the three or 4 if he can shoot the three, not at center. We need a bigger stronger center to compete with the top teams. Also, I do not think Halil Barre from Scotland Campus is the answer. I have watched several full game videos and from what I have seen he is not a high motor guy and seems sluggish and slow. I think there are better options. My dream would be to get Keba Keita, but there is big competition for him, or the kid from Sweeden or someone from the portal. I know the coaching staff have seen him play several times. This is just my opinion. You be the judge
3) There is a lot of talent in the portal. DU needs to take advantage of it and be successful.
