Go Dukes! My dinner tonight. Braised crow, stove top stuffing and green beans. Correction Kurt, we have two A-10 champions this Fall! I was referring to the NCAA tournament appearance drought. I can't believe I was watching volleyball on my computer today. Never thought I would see that day. Simms ... tall girls in shorts? What would be to not like? I never missed a game when I was a student. I was referring to the NCAA tournament appearance drought. The NCAA Selection show will airs Sunday, Dec. 1 at 9:30 p.m. on ESPNU. I hope the team gets a nice trip to someplace warm for all of their efforst. Keep winning! I did some reading. It is a 64 team tournament. The Dukes Rpi was 111 going into the A10 tourney. Just tto let everyone know, the Duquesne volleyball team lost to Kentucky 3-0. Thay capped a very good year. The team was the first Duquesne women's team to play in an NCAA tourney..

I hope they have a tourney selection show I can watch.

The top 32 of the volleyball RPI is dominated by three conferences. Big 10, PAC 12 and Big 12 ----with a couple of SEC and ACC schools sprinkled in.
We will definitely be playing a top school. But we will be playing and that is all that matters at this point.
With all the auto qualifiers we should avoid playing a top 8 seed I would hope.

The A-10 is ranked in their grouping as a "minor" volleyball conference with a ranking of 20 out of the 32 conferences. It also appears that only the top 16 schools are seeded. They have DU travelling to play the number 11 seed Minnesota in Minneapolis. That would mean DU is a bottom 16 seed. Duquesne moved up to 98 in the RPI from 111.
